JET: Last Post 08/03/2025-08/15/2025

Well, this is my last travel blog post for a while. My time on the JET Programme has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for my time in Shimanto with all of the lovely people that I met. It brings me encouragement about what's yet to come for my life, as I am only just beginning my journey. This last post will be about my last 10 days in Japan and my fun travels before I left. So please enjoy one last time my GOATs (Grace's Outstanding Awesome Tfans-who-read-and-follow-and-support-my-travels)... I packed and thoroughly cleaned my apartment my last weekend in Shimanto, since all of my friends had left by then 😢 I had briefly met two of the new ALTs who would be succeeding us before my last day of work and I tried my best to give them advice and welcome them to town. I'm sure they will love it just as much as I did. I left Shimanto on August 5th and flew to Tokyo.

JET: 03/03/2025-05/08/2025

Helloooo.... Long time no post. Sorry about disappearing on you there, you might be thinking "woah, two months of events?! This is going to be a huge post!" But, fear not, I just haven't had a huge amount of fun events happen in quick succession, so I thought I would save them up for a more interesting post (that's what I tell myself anyway 😅). Without further ado my GLOWs (Grace's Loyal Obliging Winners), here is a new blog post. The month of February, as you may have noticed, I skipped but it was overall pretty chill. The only fun things to note were I judged an English speaking competition, saw a dam, and watched the new Captain America movie with my friends. So let's continue to March shall we? March had many fun events here and there. The first was going to see a flower festival featuring large fields of yellow flowers. JET: 05/26-06/30

Alrighty, so I definitely thought I wrote and published this blog about June a long time ago and only realized I hadn't when I came to write my last blog about July/August. So, many apologies about that. My avid followers must have been so distraught not being able to read what I have been up to (haha jk). So without further ado GVRs (Grace's Valuable Readers), here is my June in Japan. After my brother's trip, which took up most of May, my final weekend of May I went back to Osaka for a concert. I took a morning bus and arrived in Osaka about 3pm, with enough time to grab a late lunch/early dinner before heading to the stadium for the pre-concert festivities. I was going to see J-hope, a member of the K-pop boy group BTS. I have been listening to BTS for many years, so I was really happy to be able to see one of them in concert.
